Supply Chain

As the global business landscape continues to evolve, so do its challenges.

New competitors are entering the waste management market. Product life cycles are getting shorter. Quite rightly, customers are more demanding, and their expectations now extend beyond cost and service to include ethical, environmental, and sustainability concerns. As a result of this complex and fast changing environment, UKWSL puts new demands on its supply chain, as we seek ways not just to manage the change, but also to use our supply chain as a source of competitive advantage.

Our success is based on thinking far beyond our organisational boundaries. UKWSL are optimising our supply chains from end to end, and we are finding new ways to collaborate with both suppliers and customers.

As founder members of the Waste Management Brokers Association (WMBA), we are committed to maintaining and developing long term supplier relationships. Our management approach is based on an honest, transparent working relationship between UKWSL and its supply chain. By collaborating, we will work towards the effective integration of their organisations, bringing greater value for money for our customers and enhanced benefits for the supplier.
